What an Americas lock means

A job limited to the Americas hires somewhere in North, Central or South America. The region runs from UTC-8 on the US West Coast to UTC-3 in São Paulo and Buenos Aires, so a team can share most of a working day across it. But listings use the word "Americas" for very different things.

Covesight files "Americas", "AMER", "LATAM", "North America", "South America" and "Central America" all under one Americas label. So this group mixes jobs open across the whole region with jobs really meant for the US and Canada, and jobs really meant for Latin America. If you live in Latin America, use the Latin America page. It applies a stricter rule and is the better list.

In the latest daily check, 815 remote jobs are limited to the Americas and 444 are open worldwide, 1,259 in all on this page. Among the Americas jobs, the places named most often are Argentina (151), Colombia (151) and Mexico (141).

By role, the biggest groups among the Americas jobs are Engineering (305), Sales (87) and Data (66). 39 of 815 (4.8%) ask for a language other than English, most often Spanish (29) and Portuguese (5). 81 of 815 (9.9%) carry a time-zone requirement. 72 of 815 (8.8%) state a salary, most often in USD (66).

If you live in the US or Canada, your country page is the fuller list, because it adds the jobs limited to your country by name. Across all listings, the places named most often are the USA (19,853) and the United Kingdom (2,065). Wherever you live, check the location on the job page before you apply. When a listing names a country as well as the Americas, Covesight records both, and the country is the one that decides.

In the latest live check (14 October 2026), the 1,259 listings open to someone living anywhere in the Americas came from 289 companies. Of the role groups, Data had the largest share of its listings limited to the Americas: 66 of 1,458 (4.5%). 15 of the 1,259 had an entry-level job title, such as junior, intern or graduate.
