The letter, the board, the scan
Is Covesight free?
Searching the job board is free for everyone, no account needed. A free plan emails you 1 new match a day. Paid plans send more matches a day, and they pay for the daily check.
What does "locked" mean?
The listing limits who can take the job, usually to a country, a region, a timezone or a language. We find these limits in the fine print and label them on every job. In our latest daily check, 92.1% of jobs listed as remote had at least one.
I do not live in the US or EU. Is this for me?
Yes, especially for you. We match every job against your country and timezone, so your letter only shows jobs you can get. In our latest check, 444 jobs were open worldwide.
Where do the jobs come from?
From 2680 hiring systems and job feeds, straight from the companies that post the jobs. We check every job again every day and remove closed ones at the next daily check. That keeps ghost jobs off the board.
Why not just use RemoteOK, Remotive or LinkedIn alerts?
Use them too if you like. Those boards show the location the company typed into a form. We read the whole listing every day, and in our latest check 92.1% of the 39,335 jobs listed as remote had a country, timezone or language limit.
Do employers pay to be listed?
No. Companies cannot pay to be listed or to rank higher. Only job seekers pay us, so a closed job is removed at the next daily check, whoever posted it.
What happens on a day with no new matches?
On a paid plan you get a short email that says so, and on the free plan we skip that day's letter. If it keeps happening, your role may be rare in remote work or your resume may need more detail. Write to hello@covesight.com and a person will look into it.
Plans and billing
How does the free trial work?
Lite and Plus start with 3 days free, with a card on file. From day 4 you pay $3.99/month for Lite or $9.99/month for Plus. If you cancel during the trial, you pay nothing and keep the rest of your 3 days.
Why is Premium billed every 3 months instead of monthly?
A serious job search takes roughly 3 months, so Premium costs $39.99 for 3 months at a time. That is more per month than Plus, and you get every match and the whole board instead of a daily selection.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, in the billing portal, which you can open from your account page. Your plan keeps running until the end of the period you paid for.
Which plans include CSV and PDF export?
Premium only. Every Premium letter includes your ranked matches as a CSV and a PDF file.
Do Lite and Plus send my best matches?
Each letter has new matches at three levels of fit (best fit, next best and more to consider), newest first and never the same job twice. Your best matches overall are in the top 10 (Lite) or top 25 (Plus) in the same letter. Jobs older than 30 days or no longer online are left out.
How do refunds and plan changes work?
Change your plan, update your card, cancel or download invoices in the billing portal. The link is on your account page and at the bottom of every letter. If something went wrong on our side, write to hello@covesight.com and a person will reply.
Does paying change the checks or the Cove Score?
No. Every job gets the same daily check and is scored the same way on every plan, and nobody can pay to rank higher. Paying changes how many of your matches you see.
