As a Billing Platform Product Manager, you will be a key member of our triad of product managers in the billing team, each leading their independent teams yet working within an interconnected scope.</p> <p>As a Product Manager at Remote, you'll be developing and guiding our strategy for a key product area in Finance. You'll advance this vision by working with a cross-functional engineering and design group to find our most important problems and shape iterative solutions towards them.</p> <p> </p> <h2><strong>What you bring</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Prior experience as product manager in billing / invoicing or similar, ideally at a high-growth company</li> <li>Proficiency in <strong>Cursor</strong> and/or <strong>Claude Code</strong> or similar tool. You must be able to autonomously build, debug, and ship functional prototypes or small code changes with the help of AI tooling, not just write specs.</li> <li>Great judgment making both strategic (what to prioritize) and tactical (feature scope) decisions</li> <li>Demonstrable, self-driven results that have moved a product in the right direction</li> <li>A passion for creating seamless and effective products, even when the challenges they address are complex and intricate.</li> <li>Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, including across different departments (e.g. business operations, sales, etc.) to ensure that we’re satisfying critical business requirements</li> <li>Proficient in English, both written and spoken.</li> <li>Bonus: Experience working in a remote environment.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Key Responsibilities </strong></h2> <ul> <li>Build solutions together with the rest of the team that solve for finance, billing and other financial services at Remote <ul> <li>Own not just software implementation, but the end-to-end experience: Remote delivers value through services powered by both humans and software</li> <li>Lead on complex solutions without requiring support or involvement from senior members of the product team</li> <li>Effectively manage internal expectations for complex projects, products, and features while navigating challenging prioritization decisions</li> </ul> </li> <li>Drive Remote in the right direction by building an effective roadmap and strategy for your area of the product in Finance <ul> <li>Break down strategic plans into near and mid-term goals that's easy for others to understand</li> <li>Align your product roadmap with higher level department and company problems we’re working to solve</li> <li>Be the subject matter expert for your product area</li> <li>Contribute to scaling and growth plans for your product area</li> </ul> </li> <li>Ship improvements quickly and iteratively, challenging yourself and counterparts to find minimal solutions to problems <ul> <li>Support and leads a product team delivering high throughput and high return on investment</li> <li>Understand key business KPIs and align your team's work and metrics to directly improve to these</li> <li>Work together with engineers, designers and stakeholders to build solutions to important complex problems</li> </ul> </li> <li>Communicate and collaborate internally and externally <ul> <li>Contribute to the Product org by sharing your techniques, processes, and learnings</li> <li>Communicate and promote the work of your team and why it matters to customers and internal teams</li> <li>Work asynchronously and transparently</li> <li>Lead on solutions with minimal support or involvement from senior members of the product team. At Remote we have international operations and a globally distributed workforce.  We use geo ranges to consider geographic pay differentials as part of our global compensation strategy to remain competitive in various markets while we hiring globally.</p> <p>The base salary range for this full-time position is $<span data-sheets-root="1">62,400</span> to $<span data-sheets-root="1">140,400</span>. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location, and our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay for the successful candidate in this role is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands.
