About The Role
Evolve Psychiatry is seeking a compassionate, organized, and customer-service-oriented Remote Therapist Receptionist to support our growing team of licensed therapists. This individual serves as the primary administrative point of contact for therapy patients, ensuring a seamless experience from initial inquiry through ongoing treatment.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, empathetic, comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional patient care. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls and route inquiries appropriately
- Schedule, confirm and modify appointments using our EMR system
- Verify insurance information and collect copays
- Communicate efficiently with therapists, patients, and other staff
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a medical receptionist role working directly with therapists preferred
- Experience in psychiatry or behavioral health
- Proficient with electronic medical records and general computer skills
- Strong organizational abilities and multitasking skills within a remote environment
- Professional appearance/demeanor
- Experience working in a fastpaced administrative environment
- Strong computer proficiency
